Synterior Renovations

If I am looking to renovate my home, how much will I be spending?

This is a common question, but it is difficult to give an answer without first knowing the scale of your project. For a rough estimation, get in contact with us. We would be happy to discuss this with you.

Typically, we ask that our clients to fill out the “Request a Quote” form that can be found on our website. Once you have completed this form with the details of your vision, we can give you an estimated quote, and the process will be started in an accurate and professional way.

What cities and towns do you operate in?

We are based in Derby City centre and Ironville so we will work in all areas of Derby and surrounding areas but generally we work across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. If you are curious about our areas covered, feel free to contact us via phone or email.

Will I need permits or planning permission?

If you are looking to make major structural changes, such as additions or home extensions, then you will likely need a permit. If your renovations are mostly decorative or aesthetic in nature, or internal functions such as a new heating system, you will not require a permit.

Do you have your own team of builders and plumbers?

Yes - we have a trusted team of professionals that have worked on projects for our clients. We work with them because we know and trust them to keep our customers happy.

The team includes builders, plumbers, and electricians. We also work very closely with designers, architects, engineers, and surveyors. All work conducted by us to the highest UK standards and regulations - and we also maintain our own high standards beyond this.

Why do you need to know what my budget is?

Knowing what your renovation budget is helps us to understand whether your expectations are realistic. We do not treat your budget like a target, but rather we use it as a guide to align your requirements with the investment you will make.

Starting your renovation project without having a clear budget in mind can lead to disappointment and dissatisfaction as in rare occasions a few things could happen;

  • you can spend way more than you intended
  • you run out of money before the project is finished
  • you end up with a compromised outcome as you have had to drop features or finishes that you really liked in order to get the project completed
